Farmers today are collecting more data than ever before, but the raw data itself is not valuable; the value lies in the insights that can be extracted from it. This is where AI is having a transformative impact. This trend is manifesting in several ways. AI-powered computer vision, analyzing images from drones and satellites, is a major application. This trend towards a more automated and robotic workforce is not just about addressing labor shortages; it's also about enabling a new level of precision and efficiency that is not possible with large, heavy human-operated machinery.
