The Tower Beta was released in the game on January 12th. If you haven't experienced this gameplay yet, you can follow this guide to get a general understanding of the process and some important points. This event allows you to compare your ranking with your friends, which is quite fun.

How to Unlock the Tower

To experience this beta event, you must first reach Season 2. Then you can go to Obelisk in Cerrigar to enter The Tower. This is a relatively difficult part of the game. If you still find The Pit difficult, then The Tower should be about the same difficulty level, since The Tower's difficulty level is the same as The Pit when it's first unlocked. You can also gradually increase the difficulty level of The Tower by challenging it.

Challenge Process

The Tower is a time-limited dungeon of multiple floors. You collect energy orbs by defeating monsters. Once you accumulate enough energy, you can summon The Tower. After defeating the Tower boss, your time will be recorded, and your ranking on the leaderboard will be determined by your completion speed.

During the challenge, you can gain boosts from the energy towers to accelerate your progress. There are three towers, and each provides a different boost:

1. Pylon of Channeling: Your skills cost no resources and have greatly reduced cooldowns.

2. Pylon of Power: Deals greatly increased damage.

3. Pylon of Speed: Becomes Unstoppable and Unhindered, and gains greatly increased Movement Speed.

To trigger the Pylons' effects, you must break their shields. Four Pylons will appear in each game; the first three will not repeat, and the last one is random. To reach the top of the leaderboard (Rank 2), you must make good use of this boost.If you feel your skills aren't up to par, you can buy Diablo 4 items to upgrade your character's weapons and equipment to achieve a better ranking.

Test Experience

The Tower is an event that tests players' limits, and many skilled players are very excited about it. Showing off their skills on the leaderboard is undoubtedly a powerful testament to their ability. However, some players have complained about numerous bugs in the beta version, such as energy orbs sometimes landing behind them or in other areas, negatively impacting the challenge experience. Ultimately, you need to experience the event yourself to truly appreciate its fun.

The Tower Rewards

It's understood that you'll only receive a one-time reward after completing The Tower. However, since it's currently in testing, there are no rewards for completion yet. I will update you as soon as there is any new information.
