The Calgary Flames and Bill Peters formally parted ways on Friday in the wake of several allegations levied against the former head coach this week. Interim head coach Geoff Ward takes over the team's bench for the time being and now needs to guide a struggling Calgary group back into the Western Conference playoff picture after this week's investigation.
